Independent sourcing partner · alternative building systems compared on the same use, loads, quantity, destination, and scope

How CoreSpan Sourcing handles a building brief

CoreSpan Sourcing is an independent sourcing service for US business buyers who are comparing alternative pre-engineered steel buildings and related site structures. The desk records the brief, sends it to factories the buyer agrees to approach, and lines the replies up on one scope. It does not own a fabrication plant, it does not hold building inventory, and it is not a substitute for the engineer of record.

The sequence, without a company history

There is no founding year, plant count, or customer total on this page because those facts are not in the site record. The timeline below is the order of work on a single brief.

01

Brief intake

The buyer names use, footprint, eave height, bay spacing, loads that are known, quantity, and destination. Optional budget and a premium, mid-range, budget, or undecided preference can be attached. They do not create a price.

02

Gap list

Missing wind speed, ground snow load, seismic design category, or an unnamed scope boundary is sent back before factories are asked to guess. A guessed load produces a frame for a different site.

03

Factory questions

Suppliers are asked for the primary frame, secondary framing, enclosure, freight basis, and the documents that apply to the quoted system. Deviations in clear span or purlin spacing are written out.

04

Handoff

The buyer, the contractor, and the licensed professionals accept or reject the deviations. The desk does not award the building and does not certify code compliance.

Boundaries that stay in force

Identity

The service name is CoreSpan Sourcing. Searched brands stay outside the logo, the domain story, and the supplier claim.

No plant claim

Quotations come from suppliers who answer the brief. Their capacity is theirs to state, on their letterhead.

Scope columns

Shell, delivered, installed, and turnkey are not merged to create a single comparable total.

Code humility

IBC, IRC, HUD Code, ASCE 7, and AISC 360 are topics to confirm, not badges of this website.

Document match

A certificate must name the plant and the system. A different product family does not inherit it.

Buyer decision

Structural acceptance, permits, and the contract stay with the buyer and the professionals they appoint.
